Brand City Parking, last month, appointed comedian and socialite popularly known in entertainment circles as Comic Pastor as the corporate’s brand ambassador at a ceremony held at the parking services provider head office in Harare.
During the ceremony, City Parking Public Relations Manager Mr. Mandaza could not hide his joy as he welcomed Comic Pastor to the parking entity.
“We are grateful to have you as City Parking Brand Ambassador. We look forward to working well with you in uplifting our digitalized services.
“We believe in your expertise and professionalism, your coming in is a blessing for our brand” said a joyful Mr Mandaza in his welcome remarks.
In his acceptance speech, Comic Pastor expressed his gratitude to the company for believing in him and given such a role.
He underscored his willingness to play a part in the brand’s awareness and marketing the company’s services which include the *192# Self Service USSD and newly introduced WhatsApp Parking Bot.
“City Parking is an interesting brand as it comes with a very misunderstood service, my task will be to engage and note the customers queries seeing to their address, not forgetting to represent the brand to the customer!” joked the Comic Pastor
Comic Pastor and Associates caught the brand’s attention in as far as the year 2020 when he partnered with different celebrities to create a series of prank videos known as “Prank Harare” where they would pose as Parking Marshals. The provoked motorists never disappointed, their reactions were always camera worthy.
The popular comedian and presenter have of late been working together with a number of corporates in Zimbabwe and the United Kingdom.
